Alphacrucis College (VETiS) is offering senior students the unique, integrated studies program of which the successful completion will qualify eligible candidates to be granted the BSB50120 – Diploma of Business.
This pathway is designed for people who wish to gain formal training and enhanced skills in order to run a small business - perhaps a family business or a start-up. The Futures Pathway prepares students to handle leadership and management while successfully looking after accounts and business plans in a legal and ethical manner.
This pathway integrates industry placement to enable students to develop relevant knowledge, skills and attitudes supported by carefully tailored course units. There may be opportunity for students to pursue a School-Based Traineeship (SBT) which allows them to gain real work experience to support their studies and be paid for it.
The Futures Pathway is adaptable for both ATAR or non-ATAR patterns of study. To pursue this pathway students must enrol in Business Studies, BSB30120 – Certificate III in Business and English; the remainder of their Preliminary & HSC classes can be chosen by the student.
It is through a process of Recognised Prior Learning (RPL), gap training & additional unit work that students will progress through the Diploma portfolio with dedicated students achieving the full qualification.
Successful completion of the BSB50120 - Diploma of Business qualification may grant university entry with credits into a variety of undergraduate degrees at many Australian Universities. Diplomas are commonly recognised as an ATAR Equivalent score of 75 and may provide credits toward the first year of undergraduate study.
